Product Description
Vivitek Qumi Q3 Plus Price in Nepal: With its ultra-portable smart LED projector, the Qumi Q3 Plus, Vivitek has entered the Nepali market as a leading manufacturer of portable projectors. Global Link Online Store currently offers it for Rs. 63,000 (Rs. 65,000 otherwise). Do you think this projector is worth the price it’s asking? Here’s what we find out.
Vivitek Qumi Q3 Plus Overview
Design
The design of the Vivitek Qumi Q3 Plus is one of its strongest points. The device weighs just 460gm and measures 6.9 inches long. As well as being ultra-portable, it is also easy to carry around.
A high-quality plastic coating covers the entire device and makes it comfortable to hold. An HDMI port, dual USB ports, a headphone jack, and a power button can be found on the device’s back.
The front of the device has a projector lens and dual speaker grills. Vivitek has done a great job making the dual speaker grills look like one. Additionally, the lens is protected by a sliding cover.
The bottom of the device is supported by an adjustable stand. Furthermore, a ‘nail port’ is provided for attaching the projector to a stand. This was accomplished with the help of a tripod.
Its lack of a zoom lever is the only downside for me. Getting the best quality picture requires you to place the device at a distance of a few meters from a surface.
Display
The Qumi Q3 Plus excels in the display department as well. Specs indicate that the device supports a maximum resolution of 1080p with a native resolution of 720p.
The projection is really bright and of high quality with a contrast ratio of 5000:1 and a brightness of 500 lumens. Color reproduction is terrific, eye-catching, and lively.
With Movie mode and Presentation mode, you can adjust brightness, contrast, and sharpness.
Software
Out of the box, the projector runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat. It has an easy-to-use and lag-free software component. I was able to browse the internet and stream videos comfortably even though the radio signal sensor was weak.
Bluetooth is also an option for connecting to the device. In addition to Miracast, Happycast, and WPS Office, the device comes with some useful apps. Various categories of apps can be found in the Appstore.
Performance
With a quad-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, Qumi Q3 Plus is equipped with a lot of power. There was no lag or underperformance when I used the device. It did stutter occasionally when casting my phone, but I was able to ignore it.
When the device is used for 10-20 minutes, the area around the lens heats up, and after an hour, it becomes extremely hot. Heat is generated around the charging port even when it is charging.
Hardware
An external microSD card can be used to expand the device’s on-board storage to 5.32GB. On the back, there are two dual speaker grills that perform well in a quiet environment. In order to play audio files, I recommend that the buyers get a set of speakers.
Battery
Powered by an 8000mAh battery, the device is claimed to last two hours after fully charging. The playback time I got was around 1 hour and 30 minutes to 1 hour and 40 minutes. Through an external drive and an HDMI cable, HD video was projected.
Conclusion
It is possible to buy a non-branded projector for less than Rs. 5,000 in Nepal. As opposed to the Qumi Q3 Plus, they perform poorly, have low resolution, and lack other features. As a result, if you’re looking for a top-notch projector for home or work, this device is for you, since there isn’t a better device at its price.
